UNDERWATER TREADMILL
Hydrotherapy uses the application of heat (the water temperature is 78 degrees) along with the buoyancy of water preventing your pet from having impact on already painful joints. It promotes increased flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and muscle strengthening.

LOW-LEVEL LASER
This is a cold laser that does not heat skin or underlying tissues. Energy is released into the tissues resulting in decreased pain, increased number of blood vessels to the area, decreased bacterial counts and increased rate of healing

ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
This therapy uses various types of electrical current to stimulate muscle. Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) helps decrease muscle spasms and control pain. Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) increases muscle tone and muscle strength.

THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND
Here we use sound waves to transfer energy to the body’s tissues resulting in heating of deep tissue, alleviating muscle spasm and pain, increasing musculoskeletal range of motion and promoting wound healing.

THERAPEUTIC EXCERCISES
This includes Cavaletti Rails, Physio-Roll Balls, sit to stand assisted leash walking, stair climbing, weave pole and wobble board exercises. These exercises improve muscle mass, strength, flexibility, improve balance, enhance cardiovascular performance and prevent further injury.
