George is a ten-year-old patient of Barton
Heights who was diagnosed with a cervical herniated
disc that was surgically repaired. He received
therapy as an inpatient for five days post-op while
he was unable to express his bowels or walk. He
continued to improve the strength of his legs with
three times weekly in clinic therapy and was able to
walk with minimal assistance after three weeks. His
following weekly and every other week in clinic
therapy sessions concentrated on strengthening and
returning his walk to a normal range of motion.
After two months, George has no signs from his
neurological injury and surgery. |
